Тhe vulnerability that found the popular hacker iH8sn0w, allows you to downgrade your iDevice with iOS 5.1 firmware to the previous firmware – iOS 5.0.1.
The creator of the Sn0wBreeze application yesterday announced on his Twitter profile that he was able to find a hole in the key APticket, generated in a unique way in restoring the firmware, thanks to which he was able to Downgrade iOS 5.1 firmware on your iPhone 4S or your iPad 2 tablet.
Of course, the iPhone 4, 3GS, iPad 1 and iPod touch owners can jailbreak iOS 5.1 with Redsn0w 0.9.10b6 , but this is tethered jailbreak. In other words, these devices must be connected to your computer after every reboot.

We must wait for new jailbreak exploit which allows Untethered iOS 5.1 Jailbreak including the iPhone 4S, iPad 2, and the new iPad 3.
This method of iH8sn0w will downgrade your firmware to iOS 5.0.1 and you can implement the untethered jailbreak. The developer promises to release the appropriate decision in the near future. As always, your SHSH blobs must be saved to downgrade to iOS 5.0.1 firmware.
