We haven’t heard any updates about new Gevey SIM for a while now. ApplenBerry were silent for a while but today is the day we hear from them.
The official distributers of the Gevey SIM have some new information about it for unlocking iPhone 4 baseband 4.11.08.
They have informed through Facebook that they are putting in their best efforts for unlocking iPhone 4 4.11.08 baseband but unfortunately, they haven’t found any exploit for it yet. They mention the reason for the delay is network providers making the unlock task a difficult one. Read on for more details!

Even though they are giving their best to find an exploit, it just might be late because AT&T is unlocking the off-contract iPhone’s locked to their network free of charge. Check your eligibility and the video guide for unlocking iPhone through AT&T online Chat.
However, we should mention here that those who are not active AT&T customers can’t get their basebands unlocked so there are many still stuck on the iPhone 4’s famous 4.11.08 and 4.12.01 basebands. So it makes sense that ApplenBerry releases a Gevey SIM that can be ordered by everyone.
The free unlock being provided by AT&T has really sparked up the competition and we hope a healthy competitive environment leads to more unlock solution rather than just one. Now we expect to see more efforts being put in. R-SIM 4 is also 50% complete according to sources and the developers say they need a few more weeks for progress.
