Apple’s September 7th keynote is about to happening, and iPhone 7 will be unveiled, which everyone is excited for. Here’s how to stream the event.
Requirements to Watch iPhone 7 Event
The below requirements apply to mobile device, Apple TV, Mac, and Windows users.
- Mac OS X running 10.8.5 or above and viewed via Safari 6.0.5 or above.
- iOS 7.0 or above iDevice and viewed with any Safari browser version.
- PC on Windows 10 and seen via Microsoft Edge web browser.
- Apple TV on firmware 6.2 or above, or Apple TV 4 with tvOS (any).
Mac or iOS device streaming
Mac or iDevice users just need to visit September 7th event web page in their browser. The streaming begins at 10:00 A.M. PDT. Refresh the link if you don’t see anything and the footage will show.
Apple TV streaming
People with 3rd Gen Apple TV or earlier will see an event icon appear on their screen, and they can select it with the remote to play the footage at the designated time.
People with 4th Gen Apple TV need the free Apple Events app, downloadable from App Store, and use the app to stream the event. The app can be launched a bit early, as live video feed can be available early.
Windows PC streaming
People on Windows 10 need to launch the Edge web browser and go on the event web page and wait a bit for 10:00 A.M. PDT.
People on Windows 8.1 or earlier can’t use web browser. You can download the free VLC player to live-stream. Try it.
1) Open the app from Home Screen, Tap “Menu”, and Tap “Stream”.
2) Enter the following URL for the streaming source:

Android device users can use the VLC app too. You can download it for free. Follow these steps.
